This will be no different in the interior design world. Imagine an industry where designers were no longer hired as full time employees but instead project based.... could this be the answer to lowering running costs of design studios and also allow young designers the creative freedom to work for themselves, and achieve the work/life balance they are searching for.

Starting a freelance career can be scary. I know, I did it at 24 years old. But what if I told you that you CAN take on that private project, and I will be there beside you every step of the way.

With more than 16 years experience as a freelance designer designing commercial, medical, retail, hospitality and high end residential projects, and almost 6 years as an educator at Sydney Design School, I have some inspirational projects in my portfolio and a lot of wisdom to impart mentoring the next great Australian designers.

With 20 years experience as a freelance designer, designing commercial, medical, retail, hospitality and high end residential projects, and close to 10 years as an educator at Sydney Design School, I have some inspirational projects in my portfolio and a lot of wisdom to impart on my projects and mentoring the next great Australian designers.

I am crazy passionate about designs that express unique creativity, solve a problem and help save the planet. Thats why I absolutely love teaching. As an educator and mentor I get to witness designers find their voice and confidence as they emerge into the design world and make an impact.

My approach to design is centred around human behavior and takes into considerations how people and businesses operate in the 21st century. The world of design has had to drastically change to incorporate our every changing world and millennial thinking.

I’ve combined my experience and knowledge as a freelance designer and my passion for education to support emerging designers find their true passion and launch their own freelance career. As a coach my aim is to connect freelance designers with business tools and resources to set up and grow their business.
